Protect your investment. Follow these guidelines to keep your leotard shining bright and looking new competition after competition.
The Golden Rule
Hand Wash Only
Your garment has been subjected to a handcraft manufacturing process using sophisticated materials and printed fabrics. Therefore, garments must be washed separately.
How to Wash
Step One
Before Washing
First, turn the garment inside out. Use a mild liquid detergent and gently wash with a large amount of cold water. Don't forget to rinse immediately.

Spektrum is always sourcing top-of-the-line fabrics and materials so we can provide the best quality to our customers. Some factors are out of our control, so we strongly suggest sharing this information with parents, gymnasts, and coaches.
Follow the Tag
Each Spektrum product has its washing instructions on the tag. Not following them can cause damage to your fabric or embellishments.
Care Your Embellishments
Hands on gymnastics, not on your leo jewels. Constantly touching or pulling on your embellishments will result in them falling off.
Watch Where You Sit
Avoid snagging your leotard. Don't sit on Velcro or sharp edges that can potentially damage the fabric.
Deodorant Warning
Aluminum Chlorohydrate is not a friend of ours. Make sure your deodorant doesn't contain it — it can potentially discolor the fabric under the armpit area.
Caution
Handle With Care
Not washing your leotard correctly might cause the foil on the fabric to lose color and the embellishments to fall off.
